As a mark of respect to the late Eamon Deacy all fixtures under the jurisdiction of the Galway FA are postponed this coming weekend.
This does not include the Interleague games or the Connacht FA fixtures fixed for this weekend.
The Galway FA would like to express its Deepest Sympathy to Eamon's family and all associated with West United and Galway United on the sudden death of Galway's greatest ever footballer.Eamon had a long and very distinguished career as a schoolboy with West United , League of Ireland career,English Football, a return to Galway united and finally only retiring a few short years ago finishing his career in the local leagues where he began with West United.Eamon Chick Deacy.
