The meeting of the defending Premier League champions and the Connacht Cup title holders is as big as it gets in the local game and in two previous league meetings this season, they have registered a win each.
Both sides are seasoned campaigners at this level and with the teams packed with players of vast experience, this really posed a huge difficulty in trying to pick a winner.
Intrestingly, bookmakers Paddy Power make Mervue United slight favourites at 5/4, while the visitor's are rated at 13/8. A draw might be a value bet at 9/4.
The game will be decided on the day, with extra time and penalties, if necessary.
The victor's will face Westport United in the final in Terryland Park on May 13th.
