East United are making their first appearnce in the decider and will be facing an Athenry side hoping to go one better than last year, when they were beaten by Mervue United.
Indeed East produced a top class performance to see off the Mervue challenge in the semi final, while Athenry had matters much more comfortable against Corrib Rangers.
The Michael Byrne Cup Final will bring down the curtain on the Galway FA Junior Soccer season.
