The Galway FA took part in the 2019 'Show Racism The Red Card' initiative. Eamonn Deacy Park (the home of Galway Football) hosted the 2019 Inter-provincial competition and also the WFAI U17 Cup Final.

12 Grassroots Galway Teams, The Connacht FA, The Leinster FA, The Galway FA, The Roscommon District Schoolboy League, Galway Womens FC and Wexford Youths all took part in the team photos to offer support for the weekend of action. This will kick-start the beginning of a season-long strategy by the Galway FA to promote inclusion in our beautiful game.
